Jefferson School PTO

Fundraising- WHY DOES IT MATTER?

What does the PTO do? Where does my contribution go?

It’s a great question.

It seems we are always for your financial support, right? The PTO is an essential partner at Jefferson School. Our leadership, volunteer hours and financial support make many events possible that otherwise would not happen. These events and programs include, but are not limited to:

Fall Festival • Field Trips • Cultural Assemblies • Father Daughter Dance • Mother Son Event • Jefferson Actors’ Guild (JAG) • Gardening • Family Movie Night • Family Game Night • Jefferson Alumni Scholarship • Little Free Library • Author Visits • Indoor and Outdoor Recess Games • Spelling Bee • Grandparent’s Reading Day

We also fund improvements on the campus including:

New filtered water fountains- refill stations throughout the school • New picnic style tables on the blacktop • New benches near the entrance of the school in honor of Mr. DeMuro and Mrs. Natale • New Blacktop paintings for four square, basketball lines, number grid and the large United States map • This year we are focused on raising funds and installing shade structures around the blacktop.
